Supermarket chain Morrisons has recalled packs of salmon skewers as a labeling error means they pose a potential allergy risk.

The four-packs of Salmon Skewers Marinated in BBQ Dressing contain milk, which is not declared on the packaging. This means they could cause an adverse reaction in anyone with a milk intolerance or allergy.

The recall affects all 250g packs.

The company has asked anyone with a milk intolerance to return the product to their nearest Morrisons store for a full refund.

In a statement, the company added: “We apologies for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”
