It's Game On as centre organises fundraising darts night
The centre often relies heavily on funding and grants so users are trying different events in order to encourage members of the community as it looks to manage its our own income.
The Game On Darts Night will be held at the centre on Hesleden Road on Saturday, September 10, with tickets £3.

The entry fee is £5 and must be paid in advance at the centre.
And they want men and women to come forward with a darting nickname and choice of entrance music - the format on the night being similar to that shown on TV.
There are a number of players that have already registered to play, including the ‘The Green Machine’, ‘Mad Dog Hannigan’, ‘Silverback’ and ‘The Bevmiester’.

The event is one of many being trialed in the hope of becoming an annual event, as well as bringing the community together.
Centre manager Alison Paterson said: It’s a tremendous effort from the volunteers to get this event up and running, all I can say is, come on people, get your Game On!”
The event will start at 4pm and run until between 11pm and midnight.
