The long-awaited reopening of pubs and restaurants in Hartlepool this weekend will be met with cloudy weather and strong breezes.

Saturday, July 4 will mark the reopening of several key areas of the hospitality sector including pubs, restaurants and cinemas, which have been closed since lockdown began in March.

It is the most significant easing of lockdown and social distancing measures to date but ‘unsettled’ weather conditions could deter some from venturing out.
